Stock Market Crash Is Just Ahead

The stock market crash of 1929 was preceded by a long period of speculation. During this time, millions of people invested their savings or borrowed money to buy stocks. This pushed prices to unsustainable levels.

Some factors that contributed to the crash include:

• Overconfident investors who believed in sustained economic growth
• Buying shares on the margin 
• Overinflated shares 
• Growing bank loans 
• Higher interest rates

I've been listening to Jimmy Buffett's stories since The Great Filling Station Holdup. Inspired! I wanted to be a Sailor so I joined The Navy. I wanted to hang out on the beach so I spent a year in Costa Rica on the bum. Everywhere I've been, the wit and wisdom of Jimmy Buffett was right there with me, and I thank God for that.
